Even more dyno videos from PAS…

Tom from Cooper Corvettes brought us their latest purchase, a Lingenfelter Supercharged and tuned C5 Z06.

Performance Autosport bought another Shop Car. A brand new 2012 Mustang GT. Here it is, 2 days old, on the dyno in BONE STOCK form as a baseline before we start throwing parts on it.

Scott brought us his 2011 VW CC (2.0 TSI) with goodies from APR to dyno. With an intake, larger turbo, and tune it put down a very respectable 300whp/310wtq.

Robert from Lufteknic, a local Porsche specialty shop, brought us a customer’s ’87 911 with a 3.8L, Varioram intake, and a few other goodies to throw on the dyno while they tuned it.

Another installment of seeing whats been coming through the doors at PAS and rolling on the dyno…

The B.O.A.R. (Bronco Owners Association of Richmond) stopped by with a couple of early Broncos to see how they faired on the dyno

Ray’s Camaro hits the dyno after a bunch of parts were installed by PAS including a 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. Tuned by Steve Williams of TunedbyFrost.com

Phil brought his beautiful ’93 Porsche RS America in to verify the health of the engine, and left pleased with the results.

A Brunton Stalker being tuned by Steve Williams of TunedbyFrost.com. This little car has a 3.8L Supercharged V6 and MOVES!

Thought that was impressive? Check out the same car….but with a LS6! This was also tuned by Steve of TunedbyFrost.com

Just like last time, just throwing up a few cars that have rolled on to the rollers at Performance Autosport in the past few weeks…

Rod McGeorge and Mike “Junior” Johnson stopped in to get their C6 Z06 tuned for the most horsepower for their Championship winning ASP Corvette.  Steve Williams of TunedbyFrost.com tuned the car to a peak of 510whp/485wtq.  Thats VERY strong considering the mods consist of only long tube headers, exhaust…and thats it.  Stock intake, stock everything else.

This GT500 has been worked on by PAS previously as we installed a smaller blower pulley, idler, and some exhaust goodies.  But, after the new wore off of 500whp more was needed.  Soon, a 2.9L Whipple landed at our door and shortly after the keys to the GT500 were handed over.  A big blower and a set of injectors later this GT500 can enjoy its newly found 140whp after a custom tune by PAS.

The owner was quite happy and we may even be finding more horsepower later as a smaller pulley can always go on the end of this Whipple’s snout and we’ll be deep into the 600′s.

So you just bought yourself a brand new 2011+ 5.0L Mustang GT.  Life is good.  Factory says this new 5.0L makes 412hp, right?  Well, let’s take a brand new car and dyno it to see what it really makes.

Our customer Vernon dropped off his own project for us to finish up with some last little touches and some tuning.  The car was built by him and his son over the past few years and after being equipped with a 449hp Roush 342c.i motor…he thought it needed more.  So, a single turbo setup was bolted on and now its here for it’s final stage of tuning.  We’ve got a few other things to address like a slight overheating problem and some things here and there, but look for a video of this car to come soon on the dyno making glorious V8 turbo noises.

Vernon actually was a PAS customer several years ago at our shop in Goochland when we threw a smaller pulley on his ’03 Cobra.  Good to see him back with his project Factory Five Roadster.
