Performance Autosport bought another Shop Car. A brand new 2012 Mustang GT. Here it is, 2 days old, on the dyno in BONE STOCK form as a baseline before we start throwing parts on it.
Scott brought us his 2011 VW CC (2.0 TSI) with goodies from APR to dyno. With an intake, larger turbo, and tune it put down a very respectable 300whp/310wtq.
Robert from Lufteknic, a local Porsche specialty shop, brought us a customer’s ’87 911 with a 3.8L, Varioram intake, and a few other goodies to throw on the dyno while they tuned it.
Another installment of seeing whats been coming through the doors at PAS and rolling on the dyno…

Just like last time, just throwing up a few cars that have rolled on to the rollers at Performance Autosport in the past few weeks…
Rod McGeorge and Mike “Junior” Johnson stopped in to get their C6 Z06 tuned for the most horsepower for their Championship winning ASP Corvette. Steve Williams of TunedbyFrost.com tuned the car to a peak of 510whp/485wtq. Thats VERY strong considering the mods consist of only long tube headers, exhaust…and thats it. Stock intake, stock everything else.
Craig dropped off his beautiful 1969 Camaro with us after fiddling with completing his LS6 swap for some time. The car was running and driving, but just not 100%. He contacted Steve, of Tuned By Frost (GM Tuning), to look the car over and give a good idea of what it needed so that it would be ready to tune. Well, after fixing some leaks here and there and swapping out a throttlebody, Steve realized in the process of tuning the car that the ECU in the car would not properly run the setup he was trying to run. Seems Craig was sold a ECU for a drive-by-wire, later-model 2004 Corvette…that most certainly won’t work with a cable driven throttlebody’d LS6. So, Steve set him up with a new ECU, we finished up our “to-do” list on the car and it finally rolled on to the dyno the other day. Through the automatic it still made a healthy 339rwtq/335rwtq. Not too shabby for a cruiser.
